Feb 09, 2012  Download Gentlemen of the Row 1.9 More Saint's Row 2 Mods The Gentlemen of the Row mod for Saints Row 2 PC is a massive integrated collection of mods, tweaks, and fixes that greatly enhances the game while still staying true to the spirit of the original.

Has anyone else had this problem? I attempted to use Gentlemen of the Row for my free copy of Saints Row 2 (thanks GOG!) and for some reason it does not work correctly. Of the three files it is supposed to create to be moved into the main game directory (patch.vpppc, preload.tbl and preloadanim.tbl) it only creates the latter two, and also deletes the batch file used to run the mod (which means you have to replace it if you want to change/try anything else). This is on the most current build of the patch (1.9.2).

That should not happen. (especially the deletion part.)what kind of virus scanner are you using? Maybe it's one of those overly aggressive ones.

I say get it for a good sale price. Then be prepared to do some tweaks. If not then this is not the game for you and you should move on but you'll be missing out and it's really easy to do.These tweaks are needed to make the game functional and just plain awesome.You'll need to get Gentlemen of the Row: & Saints Row Powertools (Unless your CPU is 3.2GHZ or you're running Windows 8 then skip this.) Copy Install.cmd, Powertools.dll, and Powertools.ini to yourSaints Row 2 game folder (e.g. Steamappscommonsaints row 2) (If you did the above you know how to do this now. You're just unzipping/extracting these files like you did with Gentlemen of the Row.)1. Execute Install.cmd via elevated command prompt (Double click on it.)2.

Open Powertools.ini and tweak as necessary. (Double click on it find Speed and under Percentage= 1.0 change that number to something between 0.6 to 0.9 then click on File and Save.)3. Load the game and enjoy.Or try the Beta version which should automatically adjust the speed properly (Beta means it could have bugs and not work properly.):Just read the site and the programs Read Me files and enjoy.

Take a look at this FAQ:1. Just unzip the folder in the Saints Row 2 folder. Usually: 'Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonSaints Row 2'2. Open the folder 'GentlemenoftheRowSaintsRow2SuperModv1.9.1' All the mod options will be in CreateCustomGotRv1.9.1.exe lots of options to choose.3. After you run it just copy the files in MYCUSTOMPATCH to the main Saints Row 2 folder and overwrite any files it asks.You can make a Backup of those files if you want to play it vanilla but with this game I wouldn't worry about it.If you -wanna play co-op- You can use GameSpy (It's two companies and only the PC news site was shutdown) or get a program like Hamachi to play LAN games online.

There is other programs like Hamachi but it's the most popular. You can do a simple search for 'play lan games online' or type in Hamachi at and see a list of similar programs.It also just helps for games that need ports opened and for those buddies who aren't very tech savvy. Just SR2 was a rushed PC port but luckily the modding community came to the rescue and with some nice enhancements for the game too.CO-OP is really fun as SR2 is more open ended and a little less linear.For those that also own Saints Row 3. Both those sites have a section for SR3.A real SDK by the games creators is being released soon for SR2, 3 & 4. Which means SR2 will be getting deeper enhancements than it already has!
