I have a Emerald Plus 4000 Generator in a 1992 Motorhome. Model number is 4BGEFA26101H. I just bought the motorhome and and am trying to get it road worthy. The generator only has 80 hours on the meter. It did not run when I bought it and the previous owner did not know when it ran last. He inherited it from his father. Anyways, First off it wasn't getting any fuel. I put all new fuel lines from the tank to the carb. New fuel pump and filters, and rebuilt the carb. I am now getting fuel but having issues with spark. With an inline spark tester hooked up I get one spark when I first hit the start button. The whole time the starter is engaged I have no spark. As soon as I release the starter switch I get one more spark. This last spark will ignite and cause combustion one time and then nothing. I have also installed new spark plugs and changed the oil and filter. The oil level is right at the full mark. I pulled the cover off and checked the wires and the control board for any rodent wire damage and found nothing. I also checked all connections at the coil as well. Any pointers or directions would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Brian
