Hello, I have an old CTK-481 Casio keyboard that I have longed to be able to connect to my computer. So, I got a MIDI-to-USB cable from online, and I am trying to connect it to Synthesia on my Windows 7 64Bit computer. However, it doesn't respond. With the computer on, try plugging in the USB cable into a different port and check if the device gets detected and installed correctly or not.If an error message comes up, let us know the exact error.If the icon indicating new hardware doesn't show up in the notification area, check if it's listed in the device manager.Go to Start and type devmgmt.msc in the search box and press enter to bring up the device manager.First look for any device that has a yellow! Or a red X icon on it. If the name says Unknown Device or looks like it could be related to MIDI, right click on it and select properties.
