Hey great work on the grandia English translation. I am playing on real Saturn hardware and have come across a bit were the game is not going into the battle like it should and wont move forward. Ok, but is it good? It really is in my opinion, it reminds me of the old Square RPG's and it also reminds of Persona with the camera movement and all.

You should ask someone else who has had a more thorough playthrough of the game since I did not complete but I did however enjoy my experience with it. However it is in japanese:( you can download translations but I don't even think they are complete.

It really showcases the power of the saturn. It kicks ff7's ass in every possible way and it's also a lot better than the psx version. Its a great game, and on a technical level, the Saturn version is better (better visuals, overall smoother frame rate), but its also in Japanese, so its really your choice, there are translation documents to be found, but if I remember correctly they are incomplete, also walkthroughs.the PS1 version isnt as good technically, and the voice acting in it is mediocre at best, but it is in English, and its available on PSN (even if PS1 games can look bad via HDMI upscaled) for cheap.Darkman2007Those are the reasons I would say the PS1 version is better. If one speaks japanese, then the saturn would be the one to get.
